Because he's a name. Don't act like you were introduced to boxing yesterday

LOL, Ryota Murata???? Dude has 15 fights. And people thought picking Fielding was a joke.

Listen, GGG spent his whole career fighting bums like Murata, he has a half a dozen good fighters he can pick from right now, but true to form he picks a total bum.

GGG's career is a joke. Had less than 5 fights against B level or above fighters his whole career.

Getting called out by Charlo, Jacobs, Billy Joe Saunders, and several others, and he picks a guy who is 14-1.

Any clown still want to claim GGG was ducked in years past? We see exactly the type of fighters he wants to get into the ring with, his career is filled with them.

GGG is so far from being an All Time Great it's not funny.

Had a war yes, but also spent his whole career fighting chumps and then claiming he couldn't find good opponents. He lost, now's his chance to go add some names to his resume. Instead he picks a guy who is 14-1.

Is a trilogy fight immediately after a loss asking for a tune-up?

If he's willing to fight Canelo immediately, then he should be willing to fight Charlo especially when the WBC said he needs to fight Charlo in order to face Canelo

"I can fight Canelo right now. Oh, I have to face Charlo? Wait, I need a title fight as a tune-up first".

            GG
First I don't think he will ever fight Charlo because he doesn't have to, unless Canelo says so and Golovkin is so die hard to fight Canelo again that he acquiesces to Canelo's demand. That demand isn't going to happen IMO. Canelo has already said he is open to fighting Golovkin and did not mention any pre-conditions. They will do it if they want to do it and no governing body is going to force it on them.

Even with an immediate rematch that isn't to say both guys wouldn't have had other fights in between. I think Golovkin's plan of fighting Murata has been well known for 9 months. This fight was going to happen win or lose for Golovkin. Too much money on the table.

You can make valid points but this sentence alone makes you look like the joke. Nobody in boxing (writers or reputable boxers) would take you serious when you say that. It makes you look worse than a casual fan, it screams I don't know crap about boxing.

Once more fans start calling for those fights all this different APP, Network, Promoter BS won't matter because if you don't give the fans what they want they will Unsubscribe or stop watching

No problem with GGG fighting Murata in Japan by the way, WBC wants to use GGG as Canelo Guard Dog or something by ordering that match up when Charlo is already #1 Mandatory. They just don't want to order Canelo to fight him!
This. WBC will try and keep Canelo happy for as long as possible, which means that Charlo cannot rely on them to force Canelo into defending the belt. Charlo's team needs to find a way to get GGG, Jacobs or Andrade in the ring and forget about Canelo.

By the end of October all middleweight belts will most likely be held by DAZN fighters IBF Jacobs, WBO Andrade, WBA/WBC Canelo they’ll have a monopoly on the 160 lbs division.
Is Jacobs contractually obligated to fight on DAZN? His next fight is on HBO, correct? How many fights are left on his deal with Hearn? Danny is still a Haymon advised fighter - and in the absence of a deal with DAZN - I see no reason why he just can't take that IBF strap right over to Showtime...
