Negotiations opened this week over a potential fall showdown between middleweight world champion Jermain Taylor and "Contender" winner Sergio Mora, Dan Rafael writes.
Now I can't fault Taylor for taking an easier fight, he certianly deserves it.
But what are Mora's people thinking?
He's not ready for this, and he's going to get embarassed.
Taylor hurts Taylor.
Good fight for Jermian, not competition wise necesairly, but publicity wise.
This will hype him up to the public alot more i think.
i agree with everybody, mora has virtually no chance IMO.
taylor would likely destroy him. i honestly can not see how the most gifted promoter could sell this fight.
me too.
Easily. There are many mexicans like Ferocity who actually think Mora has a chance, or at least make it a good fight. Putting the fight in the Staples Center in LA would also really help. You combine the mexicans on the west coast plus contender fans in general, plus the southern audience who love taylor and youve got yourself a decent selling PPV.
