It's not a fair fight now. It's a mismatch. A prime 160 pound Canelo vs a well past prime Mayweather. Canelo would slaughter him now. Mayweather loves his 0 and he won't fight Canelo even for the huge money. Even at 154 Canelo is too good for today's Mayweather and slaughters him in my opinion..

A seemingly paid off Tony Weeks allowing rabid punches, lowblows, bites, etc... is the only reason he struggled. A fair referee would have taken points and probably disqualified Maidana in the 1st fight. Plus styles make fights. Canelo is no Maidana and vice versa. Floyd is too old and too small for Canelo atm. Canelo isn't so much better now though it's just an excuse. Fighting flat footed and slow fighters like GGG might give that illusion to some, especially GGG fans. But there's always excuses when Floyd beats elites and makes it look so easy. Seeing little Floyd put it to Canelo and GGG getting walked down by Canelo will make fanboys come up with any excuse... when in reality there's levels and GGG is multiple levels below Floyd.
