This is the only draw back now that it's announced that DAZN signed Canelo to 365M contract. Watching fights is great at bars, movie theaters and clubs and they simply aren't set up for streaming. At some point in the future streaming will be everywhere but today that's not the case. And that's a lot of revenue you losing out on if you don't make your broadcast available to them. I remember for years Top Rank would air their own small independent PPVs that either HBO didn't want to be a part of or that Top Rank didn't want to pay HBO a fee for. And these PPVs were sold to Cable/Satellite providers. I bought one directly on my Comcast cable box back in the day. Why can't DAZN or Golden Boy do that and sell the fight/broadcast directly to Cable Satellite providers? So that they can be sold/aired through traditional PPV model for Bars, Clubs, Movie Theaters that are only set up with Cable/Satellite feeds.
How will streaming work with Bars Clubs & Movie Theaters?

It's not about the money it's about fans who like watching fights in huge crowds. You get that watching the fight at a bar, club or movie theater. The question is how can we get that with fights on DAZN? Fans go to the bars to watch NFL games and those are aired on free broadcast Television in the US.Comment
