The weakest champions ever, two of them had to beat Berto for their shot at Floyd. LMAO.

All that matter is, they were champions and were ranked higher than Jose when Floyd fought them.

the 130 mayweather that fought corrales would have KO'd him earlier. in saying that, crawford is a killer and arum has a valud point. to win by KO in the 12th round was huge. he had won the fight and could have taken it easy, instead he smelt blood and went for the kill.

Closing the show in a fan, against an undefeated fighter, in a fan friendly fight, the way it's supposed to be done against an opponent you outclass. Can Mayweather say the same against, oh say, Robert the Ghost Guerrero? Or Andre Berto? or the dude that beat up Broner (can't remember his name, lol)?? Nope!!

lol. I absolutely agree with that!

Crawford did what his corner told him to do. They told him to not do anything crazy because the fight was won, but if there is an opening to go for it. If not, don't take any unnecessary risks. He followed his instructions. Many times, Roger doesn't even have to say anything when Prime Floyd was in there.

And in fact, come on now. All professional boxers at their level of the sport already know that the instructions for that particular scenario are common sense.

But watch the Cotto fight if you don't think Mayweather throws with conviction in the final round. If he would have dropped dude with one of those shots in the 12th the way Crawford did, of course he would go for the KO.

Floyd first fight at welter were with sharmba, zab, and baldomir... not even the same league, barely the same sport.

If Benavidez lower his hands like he did on Crawford fight, he'll got KO easily by Floyd with sucker punch!
