He seems to forget Nelo got suspended this year for PED.

Nelo lost the first one and barely won the second, didn't show he was better than an old man.

At this stage, I don't think its important to rehash the scoring or anything as that's been beaten to death. Fair to say a bunch of people agree with you and a bunch don't, and leave it at that.

What is for sure is that there were two excellent, close. competitive fights where they both showed themselves to be equals. With different judges the GGG crowd would be claiming proof and validation that GGG was better, and I don't think that would be accurate either.

For me they are each other's nemesis - two elite fighters who are equals and have yet to demonstrate who is clearly the better. Any other conclusion is bias (in my book).

But you summed it up perfectly Sauliman is all about the $. Canelo treated their belt and organization like a piece of trash dropping the strap and wouldn’t even fight for it or pay the sanctioning fee against Cotto . Then Sauliman had Gennadys back because he was a high profile fighter that brought in good sanctioning fees

Canelo .... cough .... cough wins the rematch and Sauliman cant get on Canelos d.ick fast enough because he’s the younger guy and brings in more $ and will defend him with no shame

You’re right the sport is a f.ucking joke and honestly it always has been it’s rarely fought on a level playing field especially if there’s a A-side $ maker involved

And while it lines the pocket for the people involved in the sport who follow the $, it does a disservice to the fans and that’s why many get turned off of the sport.

LMFAO your funny as most all experts have Canelo 2-0 but min he won by a fair couple in the 2nd fight.
The 1st fight Canelo exposed GGG'S aggression by making him miss 200 + more punches then Canelo and throwing 200+ more as well but only landing 40 more punches that where jabs. Canelo exposed him in the 2nd fight as they wanted Canelo to stand in front and fight Mexican style. Like Andre Ward said there was only one Mexican in the ring that night and that was Canelo. Canelo showed he is better at every aspect of boxing weather it's defense or offense.

LMFAO ok!! If you believe that shows your boxing IQ. And Canelo clearly did not lose any fight with GGG. I'm a fan of both but had it been Floyd instead of Canelo in the 1st fight nobody would of had a issue with him winning the fight by a couple rounds.
1st fight Canelo won rounds 1-3 and 10-12 without question which at worse was a draw but he also took away a couple other rounds in between as GGG did not have effective aggression and missed badly. Canelo was asked to stay in the pocket and fight in the 2nd and he backed GGG up from the opening bell. GGG lost at any cost. Also Canelo test was shown to be way to week for any profits to be made that your saying he was using. He has been enrolled in Vada sense 2011 with well over 150 clean test year round so get your facts correct. You reading into the hype to much as that was almost as much a marketing strategy as anything else.

Canelo will never lose again. He was elevated to this cash cow position on purpose. Now, they will cherry pick opponents with no chance, or boxers under circumstances where they have no chance, until Canelo gets old. Then once Canelo gets to be GGG's age, instead of facing the next prime Canelo at age 28 when the real Canelo is 36, his team will say "Canelo is old, he has accomplished so much, he should just be allowed to fight for money now, not damage his body against young killers," the same exact thing they said about Martinez, Cotto, Froch and so on when GGG was in his prime and trying to fight the best and get the torch passed.

GGG was ducked when he was young, then had to fight the best only once he was old. Fighters like Canelo DO the ducking when they are young and only fight top opponents once they are old, and then once he is old, he will retire or cherry pick even worse.

The boxing establishment did not stall GGG's career for years, then rob him twice, just to have Canelo lose, lol. That is not the plan. I mean maybe if they can transfer his star power to someone they like even more, like an Errol Spence, they will rob Canelo, but besides that, it will never happen.
