True but I feel one of the reasons he did that was because he knew degale was anout to leave him. Also that was a long time ago, both of those fighters were prospects at that stage and now they’re both on retirements doorstep. This fight didn’t hurt either of their careers though so you’d think he’d want to cash in on this one

I rate Gorman think he's another future top ten heavyweight reminds me of a young sexton but with all the finishing touches that will make him a decent threat in the divisionComment

^^^^^^Of course Gorman want's the Dubois fight. He see's Dubois getting more favourable treatment from the promoter and parts of the press, which if purely down to talent would be unfair. Gorman is the far better boxer in terms of ability at this point, but Dubois is the more steriotypical HW poster boy.
If they fought anytime soon, Gorman would win reasonably comfortably, which is why the fight won't get made yet. Warren is pretty much grooming the 2 of them to be his version of AJ and Whyte, and no prizes for guessing which role he wants both to play.
