He's developing nicely and will continue to do so, Ricky Hatton was saying about him trimming up a little and working on a few technical things so in my opinion he can do that without too much pressure, he's still only 22 although he looks about 40!

Hopefully Warren continues to match him well and starts to develop his fan base a bit more in the future, he's a nice lad and has a good personality too. Yarde and Dubois are the up and coming poster boys but Gormans got the skills. Hopefully Hughie Fury vacates the British and Gorman can fight for it, but I think they'll probably try and chuck in Dubois.

Do you know if the BBoC have confirmed what's happening with it?

Nothing's confirmed yet as far as i'm aware, but Hughie will surely have to vacate or be stripped if he's got a final eliminator against Pulev. If he wants to move on for another attempt at world level that's fair enough, but he should give the chasing pack a fair crack at winning a title as well.

Yeah. He should, and he will. The British title was just a stepping stone. Hopefully Gorman gets a crack at the British, it'll be interesting how they will match it with Gorman, Dubois, Joyce, Dave Allen, and even Pricey about.

What do you think about Hughie Vs Pulev?

I'd love to see Dave Allen get a shot at it, he's far from the most talented of the bunch but he'll have a go against anybody - and is always good value for money in the build up as well. Joyce will skip that level I reckon as he seems to be wanting world level opponents already, and Pricey seems to be in the journeyman stage of his career now. Ideally Gorman will be in the other corner, but I'd bet my mortgage on Warren giving Dubois the opportunity before him - barring injury.

As for Hughie-Pulev.... depends on how aggressive Hughie is on the night. If he fights like he did against Parker there's no way he wins as the away boxer. If he tailors the more aggressive approach he used against Sexton to a far better opponent like Pulev, he has a decent shot but still the underdog. Prob 60-40 in Pulev's favour in that scenario, but 95% in favour of Pulev if Hughie gets on his bike for 12 rounds.

Ah mate, it would make my year if Dave Allen managed to win a British title. Shame he couldnt have gotten the Sexton fight really, can't see him getting near beating Gorman, and Dubois is a powerhouse as well but still raw and a bit stiff. Allen is getting better, he just needs to stay in shape and keep letting his hands go. His limit is around British level though.

As for Hughie v Pulev, I honestly think the best thing for Hughie was losing that fight against Parker. It proved he needs more than good feet and movement and he needs to be more aggressive. He's over his illness and developing more and from what I hear they've been focusing on power and aggression. Lots of people on here slate him but for me he's got real skills and if he can develop power and be effectively aggressive then he could develop into a top fighter. Fair play for him taking this fight in Bulgaria, he'll need a very good performance and if he can negate Pulevs jab, and if he throws enough, then he can beat him handily. I'll be watching closely.

Still also debating flying over from Australia where I'm currently living for the Fury Wilder fight... I got to Dusseldorf and am very tempted to splash some cash and get to LA.

Agreed on Hughie, I think the Parker fight might have taught him not to emulate his older cousin too closely. I'm all for boxers having great defensive and evasive skills, but like any sport you can't win unless you attack.
As for Wilder-T.Fury, personally I'm keeping my money in the bank as I think the the styles will clash horribly. Tyson will either constantly be on his bike, or will go full Valuev and try to tire Wilder out by leaning his weight on him. Wilder will do what he always does and stay ultra-cautious until something connects, if/when it happens he will keep swinging until it's stopped. In short; an uninspiring points result, or a shot completely out of the blue which will only be appreciated with instant-replay.

Yeah, I didn't go to Dusseldorf for a slug fest...hahaha! I see it going exactly how you say. Fury moving, twitching, feinting, jabbing and circling to his right. Wilder constantly offset right arm loaded. If Fury can keep switched on for 12 and doesn't get caught with anything silly he could win it easy, but if Wilder can connect then it could be all she wrote.

Hopefully the Gypsy King can pull it off.

If he's at his best he definately can beat Wilder. That's prob the biggest drawing point for this fight TBH - is it the old Tyson, or the version we saw against Seferi and Pianetta?

Based on their last couple of outings I'd say Gorman is significantly ahead of DD in his development. He may not look the part but his boxing skills are very impressive in a big guy.

Boxing skills is not all that matters in boxing, I have Dubois by KO.

I don't think he even tried in those fights to be honest. Just blowing off cobwebs and feeling his way back. The seferi fight was much much more about the emotion of getting back in there. The Pianeta fight was rounds. People say he's sparring good so I hope that transitions. Mentally he seems in a good place. Time will tell.
