Reality is Whyte painted himself in a corner by calling King Kong, once he accepted the backpedaling started immediately, it's shameful, he'll probably beat Ortiz at this time of their career but hiding behind Hearn after running his mouth looks weak and fearful.

Whyte and AJ need to take a leaf out of Fury's book and get out of their comfort zones. They're embarrassing.

It really is shameful. How he can run his mouth like that and then back down is inexcusable and just plain cowardice.

You have no idea what Wilder's highest payday is.
He won't become mandatory if he fights an eliminator, he'll be second mandatory. The earliest he'll get a fight is one year after Breazeale. Waste of time when he's in line for another shot at Joshua's titles. They screwed him making Breazeale mandatory. Who has done more than Whyte to earn a shot? Wilder flat out ducked, he was being offered far more than he;s known to have earned.

Understand how things work rankings, silver belt , means nothing you have to fight eliminator to be mandatory which Whyte refused to do hence why he is dropped in IBF

Ortiz should've fought for the vacant WBA super belt according to their rules AJ shouldn't have gotten the vacant belt

He could've fought Breazeale and why would the champion go to UK to defend his title ? This isn't Martin selling a belt to the highest bidder

Lolx.... Champ dictates where he fights. If the challenger is not comfortable, he can try another route. AJ didn't start it.... It has been there right from the onset.

Breazeale turned down the fight. Get a clue before joining a conversation. He'd have fought Wilder in the US, it just made more money in the UK. Wilder flat out refused to even negotiate. Clear duck.

Funny enough, breazeale is still waiting. 2yrs running now. If whyte fight for a 2nd mandatory, when will he get his shot? Maybe in another 2/3 yrs, it's meaningless.
As a promoter or manager, I can't advice my client to follow such route.

Only wilder boys don't see it from this angle.
