Originally posted by Noelanthony View PostI’m going to have to respectfully disagree with you bro.In terms of having a reputable name on your resume beating Ortiz trumps beating Chisora. Even Chisora’s mum would admit that.
There may well be more money in fighting Chisora but Chisora is asking for more money than Ortiz so Whyte’s take home pay would not be too dissimilar if he fought Ortiz.
Eddie has 2 months to promote this fight. Look the Casuals voted that they wanted to see Wilder fight Joshua. They made it very clear that they were not interested in seeing Whyte fight Joshua.
Whyte vs Ortiz can potentially change that outlook. Not only here but in the states too.
Hearn can easily build interest around Whyte vs Ortiz by showing viewers the 7th round of Ortiz vs Wilder. The Cuban just 3 seconds away from knocking Wilder out.
America , South America everyone will show an interest in this fight. Whyte vs Chisora just Londoners will show an interest.
When you beat Chisora one goes on to accomplish nothing. That guy that beat the S#hit out Chisora last year in Monaco what happened to him?
Vargas vs Broner was a draw and competitive doesn’t mean I want to see it again. Whyte has surpassed him since their last fight. Why is he looking in his rear view mirror. Leave Chisora to fight the Dave Allen’s and Daniel Dubois of this world
People also forget he's nearly five years older than Chisora, which makes me think Ortiz is a hype job as he has never even been in with the type of guys Chisora has and he would have been conisdered a top 3 contender years ago if he was that special. Obviously I could be copmletely wrong and he actually just never got the chance.
It's a damn shame we was just teased with this fight to be used as bargaining tools against Chisora.

Why am I not surprised. Whyte is a joke. He knows it and Hearn knows it. Wilder came out again and said if whyte beats Ortiz he would fight him. They know Ortiz by ko.

FFS Eddie! Us, the fans would much prefer to watch Whyte fight Ortiz than Chisora. The 1st Whyte-Chisora was a bloody good fight to watch, but it's been done and rematches normally disappoint when compared with the original.
At least send a respectable contract over to Ortiz's team and if they reject it then the failure's on them.

It's not hard to understand and it doesn't mean he 'ducked' Ortiz if the Chisora fight now happens.
I guarantee you Whyte is facing a tougher opponent than Ortiz will be. So who's the real ducker of hard fights?

Come on browne.... That disgraceful if you think beating browne is any sort of achievement.
Almost dying fighting chisora, proved hes not the real deal, struggling to hit a stationary gassed helenius who had 4 days training for the fight, proves he is not the real deal.
