He's making 3mil fighting bums WHY DOES HE NEED A BIG FIGHT??? Believe it or not professional fighters are not in it for bragging rights or to gain fans it called PRIZE fighting for a reason. If your boss said "im going to pay you $200 to work today you can either work 8hrs or 4hrs" which would you choose?

The problem is he can't say D. Garcia (two weight division champ) & Porter (former IBF & current WBC champ) aren't elite and doesn't want Bud to fight him then turn around and say he's fighting Kavaliauskas next. That's the problem

This is not a bad fight for an alternative, but guys like Crawford want only big money fights which wi be hard to come with top rank.

the problem is when Spence ducks Crawford and fights Devon Alexander next like WBA WBC IBA says is his likely next fight

yep I'm not hating on Crawford, I would probably do the same in his position. But that's also why I'm not a fan of his, and especially don't like the fact that the media is putting him on the top P4P list when his resume is so poor.

When Crawford was 140lb undisputed champion and held all 4 belts he had a choice which belt to fight for when he entered 147. Spence had the IBF. Thurman had the WBA & WBC. Horn had the WBO. Which belt did Crawford choose to fight for?

Doubt he's making 3mil per fight, i get the point tho. What you fail you mention is that established fighters like bud are not taking these type of risk. This guy seems like a good prospect; imagine Thurman, porter or Garcia facing spence when he was only a prospect. PBC fighters never have to take risk like this. They either fight big fights or fight has beens like Peterson or rios and make 1.5-2 mils.
