    100%.

The Gatti shutout also comes to mind.

Canelo was good back then but not anywhere near elite and the win was marred by Mayweather insisting it be fought at 152 instead of the standard 154. Yes it was an excellent defensive performance by Mayweather. Today's Canelo is elite and would KO any version of Mayweather if allowed to fight at his best weight. The two fights between Canelo and GGG were close and Canelo got the razor close split D win in the rematch only because it was fought in Canelo loving Vegas. If the fights had been in a neutral country GGG would have won both of them. Quit crying Flagboy and quit kissing Mayweather's ass. Mayweather is a great fighter but not TBE and not some god.

Canelo on his best day gets shut out by Floyd on his. Just because GGG got walked down and ****ed up doesn't mean Floyd would've.

Come on considering all circumstances...you can't deny that was probably the most spectacular performance of the last 5 years in boxing lol.

A small WW in Floyd moving up to fight a big(size wise) undefeated unified jmw champ in Canelo with real speed, skills, power, and youth on his side (Against Floyd's 36 years of age.)

It was a master-class. Completely neutralized him in every way shape and form. Literally you will watch Canelo fight today, and his style derives from Floyd.

Mayweather is the only boxer that people claim fight opponents that are either too old or too young. They're also weight drained or dealing with outside issues. If the fight is close he "clearly" lost. When all else fail he's just boring.

Hmmm nope. Nullifying a smaller dude who jumped two weight classes you didn’t make weight against was easier.
Canelo win and how he did it was more impressive and the defense needed to do that is not 100x better, but needs to be better than what he did against Jmm.
