Which current fighters would you consider elite?

The ones I can think of:

    Lomachenko
    Crawford
    Usyk
    Mikey Garcia
    Canelo
    GGG
Thurman (when he was actively fighting)
    Spence

Wilder & Joshua are the best Heavyweights currently but are they really elite level talents? They likely would be mid level fighters if they fought in the 80s & 90s for instance. Not sure if they fit in or not. I guess in the current era they are but not in general of the history of the Heavyweight division.

You have to elite to be champion or top ten guy really. Skill levels are different but without being elite you wouldn't be a top fighter of your era.

Basically what I’m asking is which fighters are considered special. Where they’re just so more skilled than the others. For instance I view Crawford, Spence & Thurman as special fighters but not Porter or Garcia. They both already lost twice & likely would lose when they fight any of the other 3 I mentioned.

Naoya Inoue has to be p4p. Thurman is a pretender take him off. The rest of the list is on point though.

            Ah, yeah Inoue too.

Is it because Thurman has been inactive or do you just not think much of him as a fighter even when he was actively fighting?

Usyk lomachenko canelo and golovkin. There's others who I suspect could have elite skill set but unfortunately winning fantasy fights isn't enough.

Nelo - 100% after he dismantled GGG in the second fight.

                AJ.... not sure yet

There arent any compared to the elites of the last 10-20 years. Some great fighters sure but not certifiably elite.

I would say Canelo and Lomachenko are the only certified Elite fighters right now. The rest are one or two BIG wins off being declared Elite.
