Not poking fun at TC that was a great, fun fight with an exciting finish but there's no doubt in my mind Benavidez was fighting with a huge disadvantage. I think he could've coasted to more of like a 116-112 loss than what happened to him.

Going by this footage of him pre gunshot vs the second best fighter he has faced the outcome would have been the same. Looks like the same exact fighter. Weak defensive skills coupled with wide punches from his hips. The best thing he ever had going for him was being a weight bully. To top it off he doesn't hit nearly as hard as he thinks he does.

Yeah if he had 2 working legs instead of 1 it may have been a pretty close fight

Yeah I might be looking too much into the leg. Crawford generally starts out slow anyway and dominated later on as usual.

You need to accept Terence Crawford into your heart. He can be your next p4p king if we have to jump off the Loma train.

A lot of these guys think they cant by without defense. Its not a coincidence they are the same ones cutting tons of water weight and ballooning up after the weigh in. Its always the same story.

I think it would have been over faster, he would not have game up with as good of a game plan without the leg.

It definitely would've been worse for Crawford early. That would've been a hell of a lot worse earlier. But ultimately yeah his passiveness from lack of movement might've actually stopped him from an earlier knockout. Benavidez definitely has 0 defense.

Yeah it most certainly would have been more dangerous, but I also am not as sure as the commentators etc that he actually bothered Crawford even in the round he had his big successes, 3 off balance blows in my opinion. The big body blow they spoke of rounds later was on the elbow and belt and he was mid step so got moved but I don't think he was ever hurt or risking it. Even when Benevidez just tried to overwhelm him i was visually strong looking but didn't really do anything for him. Although even though I say that, I had a half edge of excitement for most of the fight thinking he may catch TC lucky and would be good to see how he handled it.
