Spence basically shut down the idea of fighting Crawford because he's on the other side of the street.

Why do you start a thread asking who is to blame when you already clearly are trying to put the blame on Spence. You clearly have your mind made up that Spence is to blame. You are not asking a question of who is to blame for the fight not happening.You are just making a statement that Spence is to blame for the fight not happening. I think Spence is a fearless boxer who would gladly fight Crawford if a fair was made to him to fight Crawford. I think Spence is very confident he would knock Crawford out and I think he would knock Crawford out. Do you know of any offer that were made to Spence to fight Crawford???? NO, you don't or you would tell us about the offer. Until I hear more factual details about what was said between the parties involved I would say it's nobody's fault that the fight is not happening. The new expression is they fight on different sides of the street making the fight more difficult and complicated to make. It doesn't mean either boxer is afraid to fight the other.

The fighters are always to blame. Its their career. They sign on the dotted line. People use the promoters to shield the guy they like from any blame. If Spence and Crawford wanted to fight now, they would get it done.
