i would heavily favour spence. crawford has never fought anyone with skill whereas spence has fought brook who was a world class welterweight. crawfords not going to know how to deal with a legit world class fighter after fighting weak opposition for so long

Gamboa was a skilled guy and unbeaten. He's a more accomplished fighter than Brook. Postol is roughly the same/similar level to Brook and both those fighters were coming off good wins. Brook was boiling back down to 147 and coming off a crushing loss.

I think you've held Crawford to a higher standard than Spence.

Neither Spence or Crawford have been tested to the extent they were taken into deep waters. Spence has a power advantage while Crawford has the footwork and speed advantage. I still think it is a 50/50 fight.

I dont know about all that, many people had brook up 4-2 after the first 6 rnds of that fight and many people had benvanidez and crawford tied 3-3 after the first 6 of that fight.. The difference is that spence was fighting one of if not the very best ww in the world in his own backyard and crawford was fighting a guy with one leg who isnt even ranked in the top 20.

People are still giving bud props but he is still very much untested at ww. Spence fought 2 guys who some can argue that both guys were top 5 wws when spence fought them.

Resumes don’t tell the whole story. Comparing their strengths and weaknesses I see them evenly matched.

I know most people see them evenly matched but i shake my head because no one has ever seen bud fight a top 15 ww. There isnt a ww fighter in the top 20 who couldnt beat horn. The guy was a gym teacher lmao

Bud can fight going on the front foot, can fight off the back foot, uses the ring laterally well, feint traps, parry the jab counter, 1-2-3, stance switch specialist, catch an shoot, pot shot, and body ripper!

Spence is gonna have no choice but to soak damage while trying to deliver his which is his primary weapon besides the left hook!

I see Bud exploiting this flaw in Spence and of course going thru tough storms but soldiering on for the dub!

Benvanidez had to put up with all that from bud and was tied with him after 6 rounds. Not only that but he caught bud with some good flush shots. If he had any power what so ever he might have got rid of bud in that fight.

Spence is a technically sound boxer with superb fundamentals. He does not make mistakes. His power is 2nd to none. The huge difference in this fight is that spence can walk through all
of buds shots whereas bud will not be able to walk through spences shots. Think hagler vs srl with bud not able to move like srl which will
                    spell destruction for bud.
