Has everyone forgot that Jose Benavides is ranked 31?

Yep and his most recent opponent was ranked outside the top 300 and the one before that was outside the top 400. The are the only guys hes fouht since he got shot.He's one of the weakest opponents for an 'elite' p4p fighter rankings wise possibly this decade.

The funny thing is Benavidez isnranked 1 spot ahead of Felix Diaz ( sadly one of Crawford's betters scalps )

This fight shouldn’t be competitive and if it was any other fighter not associated with Top Rank they’d be getting crucified for the opponent picked

Although it should be easy work for Bud , I’m actually Interested in the fight and hoping JR. Has the fight of his life and if he can’t pull the upset ( unlikely) at least make it competitive

I do believe that Jose is better than his ranking suggests, but I also believe he is going from the very shallow end of the pool into deep shark infested waters.

As far as resumes go. You can pick Bud's resume apart, but these days you can pick anyone's resume to pieces.

loss to bradley in 2015 didnt fight at all in 2016
beat some nobody and then got ko'd by dsg

and somehow hes ok in your book to be ranked higher?
