He said that because Klitschko was already committed to fighting Jennings. Why would Finkel try to push a fight he knew was impossible? Finkel said Deontay was just a baby who needed two quick defenses to get ready for Klitschko. Finkel kept his word and scheduled two quick defenses. Wilder vs Klitschko would have happened in 2016 if Klitschko didn't lose to Fury.

Do people really hate AJ? Most people on this site and in the US don’t give a **** about the man. It’s AJ fanboys obsessed with Wilder. Look at all the threads it’s Wilder this and Wilder that.

I liked the duo till the whole opting for Povetkin over Wilder thing.

But I’m thrilled for Wilder v Fury now, so they an afterthought for me till I see a worthy opponent for AJ.

Some of them are pretty bad but I think the GGG hate club is the worst group of all. They hate on this excellent exciting champion to the point of insanity. Nothing the guy does is ever right as far as they are concerned. He will be out of action until May but they will remain obsessed with ripping him to threads for any crazy reason they can think of. The AJ and Hearn haters can't match them.

            And this is the truth.

I personally dont think AJ is that great either. They talk that wilder hasnt done anything and Fury is just a bum who got lucky.

Wilder cant box. Fury was on steroids. Wlad wasnt mentally there etc etc etc. Then post threads like this

Imo, AJ is currently a very good paper champ. My problem is that the guy has never been tested and is going the floyd Mayweather route. He talks a huge game but rarely backs it up. Theres a reason he wont leave the UK. It's for the money and it's for home field advantage.

I dont see the skill nor the heart from the guy. Especially not anymore. When he was a nobody before he beat Wlad he was someone you could have rooted for. Young. Hungry. A new face. But now hes almost anything but that.

He definitely ducked Wilder and I get it. Make the most of your outcomes and make the most money. That's everyone's goal. A big puncher is always a 50/50 fight. But to demand something (50 million) and back out and then get double burned when Wilder-Fury happens its just plain embarrassing.

We need wilder to sign a fight BEFORE Dec 1. Who is AJ and his team to call the shots? They had a chance. They went with Povetkin who many people though outboxed AJ the first couple rounds, but SOMEHOW was WAY UP on the score cards.

He is the only guy making himself unlikable. I wanted AJ-Wilder but AJ didnt want it. I wanted AJ-Fury., but they also dont want that either. So as a fan of the sport how cant I be upset when AJ is the champs and he chooses to fight chumps instead?

If you go to ring magazine top 10 current heavyweights Wilder has only defeated one of them in Ortiz. Fury has defeated none of them. AJ has defeated Whyte, Parker, Povetkin and Breazeale and that's why Ring has him number 1, Wilder number 2 and Fury number 7.

Destroying your own point by also putting your foot in your mouth equally, how plausible is that?

AJ rather fight Takam, Parker, Povetkin, Whyte again, Miller , Hughie Fury, Pulev, cruiserweight Usyk, maybe Parker again, Wach, Price, etc. before he fights his biggest rival and only man in his way to be undisputed!

Also he wouldn’t fight the man for 50 million guaranteed, don’t know about you but where I’m from that sounds like fear or lack of confidence, plus the comments he’s made since negotiations with Wilder!

You know the infamous disappearance of AJ for nearly 2 weeks then posts a pic of himself hanging upside down saying he waiting for a signature when he didn’t even have his OWN signature on the contract (according to Hearns) and then the cherry on the top!

When he came out an said to the fans who want Joshua vs Wilder, that they should go an train and go fight Wilder themselves if they want it so bad!

does that sound like something a champion would say or do? Imagine AJ doing this crap in the 80’s or 90’s, Ali and Tyson would verbally humiliate him into retirement!

You are the type of Wilder fan that the OP is on about. 100 per cent drivel your entire post and head firmly lodged in Wilders rectum.

AJ doesn't want the fight? He is the only one actively trying to make the fight. AJ only fights chumps? Who does Wilder fight then if Povetkin Klitschko Parker Whyte etc are chumps?

Wilder fans always look for excuses. He was milking that belt and avoiding any challenges. Just look at his resume, go on just read each name on there and the total amount of fights he has and try to justify it? He Is the biggest con man in boxing. Never attempted to unify and avoided challenges. Only one decent opponent a 50 year old Cuban with less pedigree than Povetkin who Joshua sparked out.
