I am no huge fan but I like both of them. Hearn is a good promoter who make things happen. AJ has been a good champion who has defeated more good fighters than either Wilder or Fury in about half the number of pro fights. If they weren't so good at what they do they wouldn't get so much hate. It's always the good ones who get so much hate.
Are Eddie Hearn/AJ fanboys the worst in boxing?

That's precisely the issue. I have no problem with AJ. He's a great fighter. The #1 boxer in the world. The best resume of any heavyweight. The unified heavyweight champion of the world. All praise to him.
But back when Mike Tyson was the undisputed heavyweight champion of the world, and the lineal heavyweight champion of the world, one of the biggest icons in all of sports, even his biggest fans realized Don King was full of ****. A pathological liar. Not to be trusted for one second. Not a single person felt the need to be a "fan" of Tyson's promoter, just because they were a fan of Tyson.
But with AJ, so many of his fans believe every single thing Hearn says. It's incredible. In the US, for many many decades, the public has been well aware that boxing promoters are 100% full of **** and you shouldn't trust a single thing they say.
And yet somehow, AJ's fanbase takes Hearn's every word as the gospel. It's one of the most baffling things I've ever seen in 30 years of closely following the sport.Comment

AJ fans tried to kill any Wilder vs Fury buzz by claiming (read wishing) it wasn't happening when it was announced. You'd think they'd be happy a fellow Brit is fighting for a HW championship. I've never met an AJ fan who has anything positive to say about American fighters. Very negative and cynical fan base.Comment

I swear they can't be reasoned with. You try and make them see sense cause you know for a fact they just talkin pure rubbish and know sweet F.A. but they just don't get it do they, they think you are trying to have a dig at them. Biggest dosser fanbase I've ever known. Are they the worst in boxing that has ever been?
They just buy and sell everything that rat Eddie Hearn and that muppet AJ tells them.

The inbred gyppos fangirls are just as bad. A small pathetic lot yes, but any fanbase who swear that fury's PED abuse was the result of eating wild boar testicles are fecking contemptible.I swear they can't be reasoned with. So because Don King was a scumbag, that means all promoters are?
How many fighters have left Hearn unhappy? How many lawsuits has he been involved in? I can't think of a single case.
And nobody takes everything Hearn says as gospel. You have made that up.
However, out of all the major promoters in the game he is the one with a track record of running a clean business, paying fighters on time, giving multiple chances despite losses, building fighters, delivering big fights, being professional, not sueing fighters, etc. How many fighters who have worked with him have bad things to say about Hearn?
So maybe there is more reason to give Hearn the benefit of the doubt.
