Fights are never won on paper. Sometimes the guy who has been under the radar actually fights the best fight of his life and beats the guy hes not supposed to.
Mayorga hit harder than Forrest, baldomir was more durable than Judah and quintana actually was a better skilled boxer than Williams. I know that anything can happen in boxing but this is not one of those situations. Crawford is the real deal and one of the top 2 fighters in the world, if not the top one. This is along the lines of Gatti vs Floyd.

So name the fights in which Benavidez has already been brutally beaten. Btw, nobody was saying any of those things about Mayorga, Baldomir or Qunitana before those fights. They were all described the way everyone is describing this fight right now.

He is a racist? Oh what did he say?.... I know you are a big fan of Benavidez which is cool. Just don’t get all emotional when Crawford dismantles him. If Benavidez wins I will come on here and salute you. Makes no difference to me really. May the best man win

The odds are not even worth it. I don’t want to put down big money just to make small money. So I may bet Crawford to win inside 8 rounds...... S#hit even those odds are not that good. There is a reason the bookies have the prices so low and they are hardly ever wrong

I admit, I've missed Jose's last two fights....but based on the pattern that was emerging even before he was shot...him leaning back will be a theme of this fight. Laying against the ropes as the bigger guy, just watching rounds go by

honestly, I thought Mayorga had a chance vs Forrest although I wouldn't favor him, he was a live dog. At that point he hadn't become the punching bag for big stars he eventually became. He was impressive in stopping an undefeated 6 heads Lewis at the time. Quintana also was an underdog but still live. Baldomir not so much but Zab was always known for underperforming. That's not the case with Crawford. Benavidez hasn't been brutally beaten because he hasn't faced any top fighters. He won't beat any top guy at welter such as Crawford, Spence, porter, garcia or an active Thurman. He belongs with the bertos, Alexander's, Collazos, vargas and dulormes of the division.

That wasn't too cool. God job it didn't land tbh.

This exactly. It works for promoting the fight too without putting it in jeopardy.

                      Great move
