    Comments Thread For: Fury Fitter: I Had to Lose 110 Pounds Going Into Klitschko Fight

    NEW YORK Tyson Fury felt much more confident when he began this training camp than three years ago, when he began preparing for his career-changing victory over Wladimir Klitschko. Fury arrived at his camp in Big Bear Lake, California, late last week, at almost exactly what he expects to weigh when he steps into the ring to challenge Deontay Wilder (255 pounds). That's dramatically different from his physical condition when he started training to challenge Klitschko in November 2015.

      He lost the weight against Klitschko because of the steroids, let's not forget that. He has done a good job of making it seem like he was crazy and an alcoholic but the fact of the matter is, he did steroids and got caught. That's a fact.

        He looks better than he ever has, shape-wise. I don't think his heart is going to be as strong due to the drug and obesity period but respect to him for getting slim. Says a lot about how seriously he's taking his training now.

          “[Wilder is] gonna get the best Tyson Fury ever.
          ==============

          Replace Wilder with Klitschko and that is exactly what Fury was saying in 2015 before fighting Wlad. He talk about his weight as if this is something not under his control. Is he being forced fed? I hope Wilder knock him, Fury is entertaining in the fight build up, boring during the fight and one of the worst ambassadors for the sport you can find today.

            So many people overlook this. He is a drugs cheat, period. I'm looking forward to seeing Wilder knock him out.

              Didn't realize the Wlad fight was canceled because Fury was caught taking PEDs...

              I'm pretty sure the fight went as planned

                When your next fight/job means you earn minimum of a £1m then most people would get off their seat and lose weight too.

                    No more "uncastrated Wild Boar" in Fury's meals then, lol. At least it was a bit more inventive of an excuse than a "decongestant nasal spray" or "heart medicine - I'm older than I say" or "never realized Mexican meat was tainted - even though I'm born and bred Mexican in my late 20's".
                    Let's have a laugh, can anybody remember any other ridiculous excuses from drugs cheats?
