I agree with him...but whats the point of saying this when you should be trying to build up this fight/get people hyped?

I don't understand how a lot of mfers try to hype the sport/their fights these days. Its like these mfers got no clue as to the real goal here & thats asses in the seats & eyes on the TV screen or app or PPV buys or w/e. Saying your opponent isn't any good isn't doing anyone no good...even if it is true.

I agree. However, the fight is in Omaha. They are going to come out to support him and see him punish whomever they place in front of him. Very similar to UK fans and Joshua, just on a smaller scale. What he is selling to us is, I don't like this dude and I want to beat his azz badly.

True, but there are eyes on the screen that he's detering from watching by not getting people excited for this fight.

Most people don't wanna see a murder. They wanna see a competitive athletic event.

Bud is limiting himself to being the King of Nebraska when many people believe he can be the King of US boxing or perhaps World boxing. You gotta get casual fans hyped for your fights to do that. He's just not doing that. Fair play to him if he's like Joshua and doesn't wanna be as big as he has potential to be, but it is what it is not something else.

I’m not big on Crawford but anybody that believes Benavidez has a chance in winning this fight does not know a competitive match when they see one. Arum just keeping Crawford busy for the year since can’t make the fight with Spence happen. I will be shocked if that fight even gets signed next year. That’s the fight we want to see and us boxing fans been patiently waiting and deserve. Not this mismatch with Benavidez. I was watching the pre NBA season last night and they aired a commercial for Crawford and Benavidez. No excitement of a promotion whatsoever.

Isn't Jose saying the same thing about him? People will buy tickets to see who is right. Ali used to degrade his opponents as well as Mike Tyson. Mayweather, Prince, and Lewis did it, too. After the fight they usually give them praise. People seem to have no history of this sport.
