Daniel Dubois vs Gorman Nathan in 2019?

This is the match-up that should happen. Will the fight happen and who do you pick?

I'd like to see it made in 2019 - it is a very big win for the victor but a very big set back for the loser. It's kind of a winner takes all fight, so risky for both fighters

Makes sense. It was being talked about a few months back wasn't it? Seems something changed Frank Warren's mind for the time being. The only alternative is waiting a few years, but they may both have losses by then. Would make a good York Hall or Copperbox bill topper. Dunno if Doobwah still has the English title? No doubt Warren could get the WBO on board with an International/Inter-Continetal. There's some big, ugly Turkish fooker holding the WBO European so give that one a miss!

To be honest I'd love to see this fight for the British title if Hughie is vacating. Can't remember what Frank's relationship with the BBBofC is like atm?

i don't know. DeGale and Groves fought at a similar stage of their careers and it didn't affect DeGale. Both went on to have good careers. in fact, DeGale lost but went on to win a world title before Groves. He won the European title in the fight after losing to Groves.

The loser would be ok if they are good enough.

I doubt Warren would really put two of his HW prospect together at the moment.

                  this.

wont happen until the end of 2019/2020 at least. or not at all. no reason to risk dubois this early, it would be very close to a pick em fight imo.

I think they will fight in the next year.... Gorman should be fighting for the British after his next fight.... not sure if Dubois will be ordered straight away? I think Dave Allen and Joyce could be ahead for the British?
