btw with speculation about Wright looking at Calzaghe being true.. i don't want to read another member saying "Wright picks on smaller guys".. so ******..
Technically he was the smaller guy moving up when he faced Tito and was also the smaller guy when he face Taylor. Floyd called him out first in the middle of 05, Wright is now breaking his balls by returning the favor because he knows Floyd wont fight him unless there is more money on the table than the fight is realistically worth.

Wright was never really smaller than Tito. He could have fought at 160 a while back. Tito himself was never a solid middleweight really. All of Wright's measurements were superior or as large as Tito's (wrist, chest, bicep, reach, etc). In the ring they were within 2 lbs of each other if I recall.

Taylor was definitely the bigger man though. And I wouldn't say Wright has been picking on guys smaller than him. Joe in fact is much bigger than Winky.

People thought Tito would roll Wright right over and move on to a Hopkins rematch. Tito walks around at a much bigger weight than Wright. I think he was close to 200 pounds at the start of camp for Mayorga.

That's only because he had been out of boxing. If he had been in season he weighs no more than Wright. It's easy to see the man is no bigger than Winky.

Many people picked Winky to beat Tito. I think it was in favor of Tito as far as the fan split goes, but it wasn't a washout or anything. Once the fight was over people realized how dumb it was to say Tito was the bigger man.

Whineky Wright has lost every ounce of respect I ever had for him. I had always admired him because he worked his way quietly to the top of boxing, but of late he seems to be overestimating his worth to the sport.
Yes, he is one of the best boxers in the game, but his refusal to commit to a punch also make him one of the most boring fighters in the game. shoeshines and fists of feather will never draw the casual fan, which you have to do if you want the big bucks, and the household recognition he seems to think he already has.

Why does it matter? All Mexicans aren't the same. It's very easy to see that Floyd could have problems vs Margarito based on Floyd's trouble vs Castillo.

Floyd has beaten every white fighter he has faced as well, so should he not fight Hatton?

Obviously his record against Mexican fighters is perfect since he is still undefeated.
