This is bull****. Rehydration clauses now too? That will be the death of boxing for real. Just use second day weigh ins ONE HOUR BEFORE THE FIGHT where the fighter isnt allowed to be more than 5 pounds over the previous day's weight. That will force EVERYONE to fight in their real weight class and none of this crap would be an issue anymore.

Any sort of weight stipulation causes lots of buzz. We love numbers. Still if u can make weight I don’t care how much u put back on. Almost every fighter puts on weight by fight night. A 147 who puts on less will complain that they fought a MW in the ring, but someone who makes MW will prolly weigh 170 or more in the ring. U might as well complain someone hits harder than you.
