Technology like slo mo needs to replace judging agree or disagree?

    https://<iframe width="560" height="...reen></iframe>

How the fcuk can judges that frequently get it wrong on normal fights accurately score someone that moves as fast as Pacquiao? We need to move to technology fast and scrap judging, the crowds will just have to wait a bit longer for the official score and too bad because too much is at stake. Or at least this needs to be the case for such important fights!! ITS HARD TO GET IT WRONG WITH SLOW MO!

I don’t think we need slo mo but judges should have monitors. There’s no reason for judges to be sitting ringside when they can watch the fights on TV in the back.

        nope

most likely, the issue that you are referring to is a perception issue

the criteria you are referring to is " clean hard punching "

the judges know, and they usually get it right

a common perception may be that they get it wrong, but the Canelo/Golovkin rematch proved that very few people actually know how to score a fight

            forget Dodo-Byrd.....

in the first fight, the two remaining judges differed by ONE SOLITARY POINT

the ONLY judge who scored that fight for Golovkin awarded him the match by..... you guessed it, ONE SOLITARY POINT

you guys don't know how to score a boxing match..... amateur, or professional

I didn't vote because the poll is rigged the way you worded it. Off course everyone would like more accurate scoring of fights. But your high tec methods are never going to be used even though you are pushing so hard for it. Any changes those in power make are for the worse. Open scoring was tried and quickly discarded. Use of instant replay on knockdowns and illegal blows has not been accepted. Now judges are no longer allowed to score a round even when they think the round was even. Now they must give the round to one boxer or the other so the usually give all the even rounds to the boxer they like the most. This can cause terrible score cards. How does it help scoring accuracy when a round a judge thinks was absolutely even cannot be scored the way that judge sees it. You have a very noble idea that will never become a reality.

on the scoring even rounds, I agree..... there should be nothing wrong with a judge scoring an even round..... a judge entering a card that has 4, 5, or 6 even (drawn) rounds, should be no problem

I disagree that if a judge thinks a round is even they will automatically score for their favorite fighter
