Yeah, he was 131. Jamie was 144. I don't understand those guys that cut that much weight like Jamie. They think they will have a huge advantage because they will weigh more, but they just really end up hurting themselves in the long run. Bellew did the same at 175. Bellew fought at Heavyweight as an amateur, but decided to move down to 175 in the pros and it didn't do him any good. Once he moved up to the division he belonged Cruiserweight/Heavyweight he has looked better than ever.
Anyways that is a different topic.

I think Inoue may be able to move up a few divisions. Manny at 24, a year younger than Inoue, was fighting at what? 122?
Not saying Inoue will go all the way to Welterweight, but I think he could be successful at a higher weight. Inoue is similar in height to Manny. I have seen a picture of them together. That really doesn't mean much though, because Manny has a really strong build from his calves to upper body, while Inoue is more lean.

By the way, I saw a picture of Juan Francisco Estrada with Salido and Berchelt and he didn't look that much smaller than them. He was basically the same height as Salido. Berchelt was about an inch taller than them and I thought Berchelt was a massive Super Featherweight.

It's going to be interesting to follow Inoue's journey and see what he can accomplish. Ultimately how many divisions he wants to fight will be up to him.

Hopefully now we can discuss more about this fighter because he is exceptional.

Anybody know doesnt recognize his talent by now doesnt know sht about boxing.

I don't like using Pac comparisons, because Pac was rolling dirty IMO (no way does any fully grown man on an asian diet...or any diet for that matter gains 40lbs of muscle naturally)

Burnett is a nobody right now.

Id be more excited if Nonito beat him and faced Inoue in an all asian showdown.

What do you think is the stereotypical 'asian diet'??

Cos east asians and southeast asians are two different things.

not to mention philippines was a colony of the US for half a century. it's food culture also stuck with it. also you assume people like Manny only eat rice and fish on a constant basis. I dont know anyone with a networth of $200 million that only eats rice and fish.

Plus Pac started pro at 17. Ofcourse his weight and muscle will grow. He was a growing kid.

When I was 17, i vividly remembered weighing at 115. I was skin and bones. And when Manny started, he was skin and bones. Now im 150lbs pure muscle. My height is 166cm. About the same as Pac.

I naturally gained 35lbs of muscle at 25. And I dont even box or train in boxing gyms.

yup. that's him lol. After that suspension, I don't think Nery can afford to repeat his actions. He's banned from Japan so the fight would have to happen in Mexico if not the U.S. All I'm saying is it would make for a great action fight
