What do you think about Canelo Fielding fight?

a showcase fight. Canelo will use Fielding for a punching bag. hopefully we get a highlight reel KO out of it.

It's bizarre. I was convinced it'd be Lemieux next, which is a credible fight. The Fielding fight will only make sense to me if he faces one of the proper title-holders at 168 afterwards

It means he's scared of the smoke left back at 160.

He's not coming back down to 160 once he makes the jump to 168.

After two huge fights, won't be bad to see him get another moon a mid level guy. Not ideal but it's acceptable. At least he took it quick and didn't sit for a year.

I have no problem with the fight for 4 reasons.

1. This is obviously a tune up for a bigger fight in May.
2. He's coming off of one of the toughest fights of his career.
3. Canelo is moving up in weight.
4. Fielding is a legitimate top 10 super middleweight.
