I look forward to clenelo vs Charlo. He is no walking punching bag like lil G. He has some serious skills, power and a real fighters temperament. Great fight when it happens

"He really captures a crowd and judges with his loud slashing shots. I was at 3 of his fights live and all were controversial" nice way of saying that his fans scream like groupies even if he isn't landing and judges buy into it. Canelo gets more credit from judges consistently while getting outlanded round after round than anyone I can recall in boxing.

The strange thing about GGG's strategy (or lack of it) in the 2nd fight with Canelo, is that consistent body work most certainly ought to have made a difference.

I'm not sure if it was Canelo style of counterpunching that had GGG in two minds, or whether Golovkin was just single-minded. I heard reports he threw a total of less than 10 body shots the whole fight.

Although Golovkin deserves more chances, a lot of very patient big names in the 160-pound division have been very patient in waiting for their shots, so let the mix up begin.

That Jaron Ennis question is funny because I was just talking about that with my dad earlier this week after rewatching his fight on shobox from July.

From the eye ball test I think Ennis schools Thurman. He’s not ready for Spence or Crawford. He’s not even ready for Garcia or Porter as Portes mauling Style would overwhelm him at this point.

But Thurman’s style plays into his hands as Ennis can fight in close and pivot like Loma. I know u guys will call me crazy but that kid is the goods!

Oy vey! That ***ish dude just kept going on and on about himself and what he's accomplished. I thought he was going to tell us his college grades, net worth, what kind of car he drives, and his wife's physical dimensions.
