There’s nothing to commend here. The very same could be said about GGG and some past opposition. He was rightfully bashed for it and so should Canelo on this one. The public isn’t demanding this fight, it’s Sulaiman egging another sanctioning fee out of Canelo for being a star. Don’t believe me? When was the last time Sulaiman praised one of their champions to fight for the WBA Regular belt? Exactly, never. He doesn’t want to lose that money from Canelo in the future. Canelo needs to take this tune up and defend his titles at 160, not go backwards in terms of popularity.
