1) he made a bunch of silly excuses to avoid Sergio Mora in a showcase on HBO, preferring instead to fight a NO-HOPER in Monaco on free-TV
Mora ducked him. Period. I have pointed out a number of times an actual quote from Mora saying he didn't want anything to do with GGG until he got with HBO. Before that he ran like the wind. ***** him.
Mora was an ex-champ who had clearly faded, which is the ideal opponent for a young fighter attempting to establish himself on the world-stage..... boxing has always worked that way.....
Lara would have been Golovkin's best opponent to date at that point..... and once again, insisting that someone is irrelevant, and not a draw..... only works if you fight someone relevant who IS a draw..... not guys like Willie Monroe, Wade, Brook, etc.....
Lara is a guy GGG's promotional team wanted nothing to do with. I don't know why I think he's easy work. Doesn't have the power to keep GGG off him and doesn't throw enough punches to win rounds. But just like GGG, Lara was content to sit in his own division rather than move up.
4) the superstar Cotto, should have been the ultimate goal of every fighter from 140-160..... at that point in time, Cotto was the very best option, because May/Pac were totally unrealistic and never going to happen
Mr " anyone from 154-168 " totally refusing to negotiate on weight with the little old faded SUPERSTAR Miguel Cotto.....
5) they specifically promised to fight Canelo at 154..... but as above, when shht got real they tucked tail and ran from that fight..... and just like above, 6 months after refusing to negotiate on weight with Cotto and Canelo, Golovkin threw up his hands in frustration and claimed that he was willing and able to fight at 154, but nobody would step up.....
This whole argument you're making here is totally nonsensical. The fight happened. Twice. Why are you still complaining about those failed negotiations when you could be spending your time talking crap about how GGG lost.
6) Derevyanchenko - and Golovkin got stripped
7) Saunders..... why the fcuk would Golovkin select a total NO-HOPER in Vanes, when Saunders was running around with his "dream"..... calling him Pvssy-Borat.,.... and offering to fight him in June???Last edited by yankees7448; 10-18-2018, 04:54 PM.Comment

Continuing with the lies. There is no reason to believe the Mora fight would have been on HBO. Mora is an ESPN level fighter. HBO wouldn't have bought that fight. Secondly, only you brought up the possibility of the fight taking place in Africa. Europe was the location of the fight from day 1.
Mora ducked him. Period. I have pointed out a number of times an actual quote from Mora saying he didn't want anything to do with GGG until he got with HBO. Before that he ran like the wind. ***** him.
Yea. That's why GGG tried to fight him. But Mora didn't want that work without HBO's money.
As for Ward and Lara. We've gone back and forth about those guys alot already. The Ward fight was unrealistic. Ward was having promotional problems and was inactive. I don't think he could have made the weight. I thought he would have been a dangerous fight for GGG and after seeing him taking Kovalev's best shots I am convinced he would have beaten GGG. For the most part though I still firmly believe Ward was riding GGG's popularity to regain relevance.

Lets not pretend Cotto wanted anything to do with GGG. He pulled that same who has he fought bull***** when GGG's name came up. Meanwhile he never mentioned Lara's name even though he had a belt and fought numerous top level guys. Cotto was a money hungry, cherry picking clown at the end of his career. Serves him right that he lost a guy he thought was a soft touch. ***** Cotto.
Its really ****** to complain about not willing to bend on weight when he stood his ground, got the fights at the weight he wanted and he got the split he wanted for the rematch.
This whole argument you're making here is totally nonsensical. The fight happened. Twice. Why are you still complaining about those failed negotiations when you could be spending your time talking crap about how GGG lost.
Derevyanchenko isn't scaring anyone. He was too expensive for a May fight to be possible and then GGG tried to get the mandatory postponed so it wouldn't interfere with a much more meaningful fight against a tougher opponent.
Who gives a ***** about the June fight? They had a contract to fight in August if the negotiations with Canelo fell through. So who cares? And now we know Saunders is a cheater too. The guy was talking crap about Canelo pissed hot himself. Screw him too.
FACT: Golovkin ducked EVERYONE with a pulse, just like I said
THAT, is why he has a shlt resume
aside from the really dumb excuse that immortalized you in my sig, lets take a quick look at one other piece of ******ity that you are responsible for.....
"The Ward fight was unrealistic. Ward was having promotional problems and was inactive. I don't think he could have made the weight"
kid.....
1) Ward had just fought Smith
2) THEY DEMANDED 164
then they refused that fight in 36 minutes flat looooool
btw, 36 minutes is coincidentally the exact amount of time it takes to hold a professional boxing match
Golovkin literally thought about every single one of those minutes before saying naaaaah
you bought into the hype, and now you are embarrassing yourself by selling that hype to meComment

btw, excuseman.....
Golovkin now has.....
1) no titles
2) no chance of breaking Hopkins record
3) no P4P #1 spot
4) no signature win on his resume'
5) no pride
6) egg on his face
7) lumps on his face
Canelo now has.....
1) Golovkin's titles (well, the ones that weren't stripped anyway)
2) his P4P spot
3) is a sure-fire first-ballot Hall of Famer
4) Golovkin's pride in his pocket
5) 365million deal from DAZN

still lying and misquoting ?
how does that make you feel better ? lol
you wouldn't know a good fighter if he punched you in the face
Golovkin feasted on soft-touches and no-hopers, while avoiding fighters who posed a threat..... not just one or two, that you could flip off as bad timing..... which is why I can name 7 fighters who Golovkin clearly avoided, and why you embarrassed yourself making more silly excuses
FACT: your silly excuses aside..... Golovkin COULD have taken those fights I mentioned, but he CHOSE not to..... instead selecting someone much WORSE
not jumping on Cotto and Saunders is totally inexplicable
he wants a big drama show... but does not want any actual dramaComment
