    Golovkin - Gilberto Ramirez

So now we know what Canelo's next fight is. He has multiple options after that.

If I'm Golovkin and I'm still wanting to get that third fight with Canelo I think the play might be to target Zurdo. This is probably the biggest name fight he can make in NA excluding Canelo. Also, assuming he wins, it would cut off a potential path for Canelo at 168lbs. The fights at 168lbs might be more lucrative for Canelo than 160lbs with just as much or less risk (excluding Golovkin financially).

Golovkin-Canelo can then either happen back at 160lbs or 168lbs.

I don't agree with that. I'm not saying Zurdo is a monster but he is solid opponent. Fielding's defense is atrocious. He throws slow wide punches.

This will be target practice for Canelo. Canelo can come in at 160lbs and he will smoke this guy.

Maybe not, but who is bigger?

                Golovkin vs.

                Derevy
                Jacobs
                Charlo

I'm not just talking about the States, I'm talking about Mexico too (yeah okay Canada too).

You think Mexicans are going to care about a Charlo-Golovkin fight? Same goes for Jacobs.

You have an undefeated Mexican fighter and at 168lbs. That story line is going to drive more than Golovkin fighting anyone else I believe. Then maybe again no fighter makes a difference.

Murata is likely the most lucrative fight without a doubt (of course not named Canelo). Smith would be lucrative too but I don't think he is going to take that big a fight first if he is thinking about fighting Canelo again.

Its not a bad back up option but still plenty of good fights at 160. More interesting fights too.

P.S: Why are people saying GGG should fight the best 168 pounder while Canelo can get away with picking the 5th best English Super middleweight (after Callum Smith, George Groves, Chris Eubanks Jr and James DeGeale).

Double standards be such a joke here man.
