Why are people saying the ticket prices are overpriced in the US? Sure for the massive fights. But Wilders tickets are usually around the same price as Joshua's. He can't sell 10k. They have to give them away for free and still can't fill an arena. They need Fury and thousands of Brits to go over and do it for him.

This is true actually. I think I paid more for my ticket to aj takam than I did for porter vs Garcia and my seats were much better at the Barclays centre.

US shows are over priced; $100 PPV's, $1000+ ringside tickets = limited audience.

Hearn's model = make it cheap, get the volume in, keep the masses happy and begging for more.

And that kind sir is the reason why boxing is dying out in the usa and away from the mainstream audience.
Its even worse for wilder because he has never sold a ppv and nobody knows him in his own country and they think tney can still charge $90 ppv to see him and fury fight lol

Letting 80 - 90k ordinary, average guys have the night of their lives watching a world HW title fight live ... and only taking a measly $10million at the gate because you didn't rip them off by charging $1000 for the nose-bleed seats. How dumb is that?

Don't you understand ... that kind of greed is what put big fights in the US beyond the reach of the ordinary, working class guys who made the sport what it was in the golden age, and killed boxing as a main-stream sport in the US!

And the ****** money that you guys have to shell out to watch PPV fights on your own TVs at home ...
