Khan has no one to blame but himself. He was in line for a mayweather shot but got knocked out by Danny Garcia. Then when his name was a possibility, he decided to take the safe route and fight guys like algieri (and struggled) while maidana took on a highly regarded (at the time) undefeated broner and whooped him. Maidana made himself a more viable option for mayweather and khan lost out again.
