why would they want to fight Golovkin again ?

to do him a favor ?

Canelo can make GREAT money fighting whoever he wants

I bet now Golovkin wishes that he had been more respectful, and more gracious in defeat..... why should they do him any favors?

not sure why they would even consider fighting him tbh

if I was Hoya, I would flatly refuse to fight him again..... that way Golovkin's ONLY chance of securing redemption, or at least another payday..... is to go through Charlo

    make him work for it

I think Golovkin probably realizes that he will need to force that fight

i think to a certain level canelo needs GGG as well. his biggest dollar fight will be with GGG. hes also guaranteed a decision v GGG. he'll get more money v G than charlo, saunders, jacobs, andrade etc.

i thought GGG won both fights however i think canelo may just stop GGG next time around.

anyway, id like to see them go around again.

Yeah I actually would have prefered it if they came out and said they don't want another GGG showdown.

That way GGG would have had no choice but to accept the Charlo eliminator if he wanted another shot.

Now they giving him the option to totally duck Charlo and it pisses me off coz I wana see that fight.

Redass should not duck the third fight in May! They need to fight on neutral ground without Nevada judges. Unless he’s chickenshlt!!

It has always been Canelo's choice. The diva decides obviously. He is a very good fighter, but he's got no personality. He waited out for GGG to start showing his age and will not take a 3rd fight with GGG until Sept 2019 or even 2020. Why would he risk it especially if they fight not in Vegas, which isnt likely with the diva? When the 2nd fight was so close, why chance it in May? Good business decision, that's all there is to it. Plus, given how petty and vengeful De La Hoya is, they'll squeeze every penny out of GGG.

It makes me laugh that there are still people who believe
that the third time will be the charm for Golovkin.
They saw a close first fight, and they saw Canelo with the
advantages in the rematch. The third fight will only end-up
worse for the aging Golovkin. I don't understand why his
faithful fans can't see this. Golovkin will NEVER beat Canelo.

I don't think the monetary difference between Golovkin and guys like "charlo, saunders, jacobs"..... is that great at all

Golovkin has never been a big draw.

Canelo is the draw, and he is at that point where he can do whatever he wants

I have no problem with that fight, but would prefer something new

look at it from Canelo's perspective..... because of the huge media/fan bias, and because Team Bullshlt will always have an excuse..... Canelo will never get any credit for beating Golovkin
