What promoters say and do are two different things. It’s a business and they’ll do what’s best for their pocketbooks. I’d definitely like to see him against Spence but I don’t see it happening soon. I got my fingers crossed tho to I’d love to see that fight. A fight like that is a lot of risk for both sides with not a lot of reward.

Crawford has some skills but the fact that he was dropped by Gamboa gives me reason to believe Spence can get outboxed by Crawford but eventually overwhelm him late. Kinda like Hurd did to Lara (I'm still pissed at that lol Oh well lol)... Also Crawford hasn't fought the best guys in the world either.

For the money, why else? Not everyone can or wants to sign for PBC and I doubt they could afford them all or provide them all with dates.

You have Crawford calling for the fight and promoter on record as saying let's work together. All I hear in response is roadblocks. It's not as if it's easier on Spence's "side of the street", the man's been waiting a good two years for his stablemates to fight him.

I'm not sure how much time Crawford has as a Top Rank fighter but if these fights are not made, he and big Mac will be looking to jump ship to Al Haymon. Not every fight can be PPV with the other top welterweights. TR has a very though job ahead of them.

Crawford just signed a multi year deal with TR. Secondly, Al Haymon is a manager, Top Rank, Match and Golden Boy are promoters. There's no reason to jump from one to the other, a fighter can have a manager and a promoter.
