Comments Thread For: Whyte: Ortiz Doesn't Want To Fight Me; Asked For Silly Money

Dillian Whyte doesn't understand why he needs to go through Luis Ortiz to get a shot at Deontay Wilder's WBC heavyweight title. Not only did Wilder knock out Ortiz seven months ago, according to Whyte, Ortiz didn't want to fight him July 28. Wilder reiterated this week during a press tour for his December 1 fight against Tyson Fury that Whyte must beat Ortiz in a WBC elimination match before he'll consider defending his title against the British contender.

Dillian you need to clear up business at your own level and rematch Del. I was ringside to see how you deal with Joshua and that will only get worst if there is a unfortunate next time. These's much better fights out there for both of you at different levels.Only accountant Barry Hearn wants to see a Whyte v Joshua rematch.

Whyte using the fact that Parker and Brown helps belts before to legitimize himself is pathetic. 2 of the worst belt holders oat and whyte struggled with Parker. Parker is a former wbo champ, sergei liakovich is also a former wbo champion and wilder gave a seizure.

Whyte talking like he beat 2 animals. No bro you fought 2 paper champions from Europe who happen to be running low on fast twitch muscles(wink wink)

You’re rewriting history here pal. I remember a lot of people on here thought Parker would beat aj and almost no one gave whyte a chance against him and now all of a sudden he’s the worst champ In history? Fact of the matter is based on level of opposition no one deserves a title shot right now more than Dillian Whyte.

Ortiz is incredibly overrated based on his amateur and professional
records. I'm not sure any of his supporters when appear to be Wilder fans have actually seen him fight. In what fight professional or amateur did he beat someone and we're supposed to go he's the bogey man ? ... Jennings three years ago maybe ? after that I'm stuck.

Someone tried to say he had a better record than Povetkin .. lol. You know Povetkin owned him in the amateurs ?

Lmaoo this title is garbage. He’s talking about the past we’re talking about now. Fact is he ducked Ortiz and there is no way around it. I’m glad the WBC didn’t give this clown a shot for beating a inactive cheater Lucas Browne.

That’s what power will do for you. Tell Hearn to bow down no one cares about Dillian Whyte
