Great news. Keep the 135 belts and go after Lomachenko. Spence would've beaten Mikey down and I like both. Mikey vs Lomachenko is the fight for the true p4p #1 spot. I will be rooting for both Lomachencko and Mikey in hopes of them fighting eachother next.

I think it is always better for the sport to have fights within the division that move a division forward then to have in house money CW or "move up" fights where we know the outcome and it ends up just being a payday.

Canelo/Kahn, GGG/Brook and the proposed Spence/Mikey and Manny/Loma fights are just wasted BS money grabs.

Agree 100%. I compare these fights to fan service, match ups that make no sense other than to satisfy the curiosity of fans. Like TV shows that suddenly succumb to fan input and go downhill. Also, that BS fight was not only unnecessary it ruined Brook and ****ed up his eye, he'll never be the same and never was after that fight.

quelle surprise! who would have thought it? Mikey calls out a top fighters name or dangerous fight and then it doesn't happen. The guy has been doing it for years.

That said, i don't think he should fight Spence but the point still stands.

Yup. Brook/GGG is the perfect example. Everyone knows GGG was going to win. Brook didn't lose his title and was beaten so bad that he was all but ruined for any tough fights after.

That is why I saw no reason to do Mikey/Spence. Why ruin Mikey for a possible Loma fight?

I have to say, Mikey ALMOSTTTT had me fooled this time! ALMOST!! A small part of me really wanted to believe him this time when he dropped spence name. I like mikey i do, but when is enough enough? Im tired if him name dropping then fighting guys everyone knows hes gonna beat only to name drop after the fight and so on and so on and so on. Maybe hes just going after floyds 51-0 at the end of the day. Maybe thats his real agenda.
