Comments Thread For: Linares: KO Win Was Statement To Mikey Garcia, Ramirez, Loma

INDIO, California - Jorge Linares is nowhere near done with boxing. Not by a long shot. After the loss to Vasiliy Lomachenko on May 12, the boxing world would have understood and applauded the 33-year-old Linares had he decided to walk away from the sport.

With TC having left the division, 140 has really opened up and if he stays there, then Linares v Mikey has to be the nest logical step. Mikey avoided him once, lets not let it happen again.

Didn't Linares back out of an agreed fight earlier this year?

I wouldn't mind watching Ramirez vs Linares at all. Linares vs Orozco would be fireworks also.

Once again, these ppl are afraid to mention the BEST FIGHTER @140.
          REGIS PROGRAIS!
Why are Latin Fighters afraid of Black Boxer Punchers?
Linares, Saul, Mikey Garcia, & others refuse to mention guys like Prograis, & the Charlo's.
Its embarrassing to see these grown men afraid to mention their names.
They mention names like Ramierz, or Lemeiux, & other fighters.
The Promotional cowards at GB, & TR, are holding on for dear life.
          New era in boxing.
Can't shut these guys out forever.

Linares is good but nowhere near a hall of fame inductee like the article suggests.

Who??? Prograis doesnt even have a real belt yet. And Charlo will get his soon. Then youll jump on someone else's nuts.

linares is a very taletned athlete but he will always lose to durable guys who can handle the speed and have power.

still excited to see the rest of his career. he's had a good one and he's got more left int he tank i think. his frame will do well moving up. hard to believe he used to box at 126 lbs.

Almost won? LMAO! All Linares achieved in that fight was 1 flash KD and 2 rounds he almost won against opponent with harmed right hand. He calls it "almost won"!
