he could have selected Saunders, Derevyanchenko, or Jacobs.....
but he selected Vanes, and got stripped for his trouble
look, fair point about the money-fight with Canelo.....
but your problem is, Golovkin has refused to lift a finger to make a meaningful fight, even with SUPERSTARS..... they had to be order to fight Jacobs and they did everything possible to kill that fight..... so, why now?
they will look at fights like Murata, Eubank, Munguia
lower-level guys who will be " available " throughout the fight
just like always

"He could have selected Jacobs, but he selected Vanes." Yeah totally, despite Jacobs fighting literally the week before. Makes complete sense. And Jacobs wanted more money when they first started negotiating, making it get pushed back, even though it was Golovkin's team that supposedly did everything to kill the fight. What a life it must be to have convinced yourself of so much bull****.Last edited by AKAcronym; 10-03-2018, 06:40 PM.

look I just don't think Golovkin is about that life
even Sanchez admitted that Golovkin is not concerned about legacy
which makes some sense of the silly decisions they have made
I hope that Canelo refuses to fight him next
I think the only way Golovkin will step up and fight Charlo is.....
1) Canelo refused to fight him next
2) Golovkin wants the trilogy fight for the sake of his legacy
not sure if either of those things are true, or will happen
Golovkin wants, what he has always wanted..... risk/reward
easy fights for GREAT money
I think they will take the 3 easy fights that I mentioned above..... Murata, Eubank, Munguia..... before they risk a shootout with Charlo.....
and they will rely on hype/media to push for a third Canelo fight, rather than earn it the hard way..... just like they have done throughout Gennady's career

first they offered him Quillin money..... which is the exact same low-ball they threw at Saunders..... before quickly running off to fight Monroe/Wade respectively..... with NO counter-offer lol
then when ordered to face Jacobs by the WBA, Team Bullshlt dragged the negotiation out for so long it cost them a fight date..... and all they ended up having to pay Jacobs was an extra 250k
http://www.fightsports.tv/golovkin-j...acobs-175-mil/
they lost a fight date because they were quibbling over 250k lol
stop buying their bullshlt son, it's embarrassing

if Golovkin really did beat Canelo.....
* Sanchez would not have admitted that Golovkin did not win
* Golovkin would be fighting Canelo next, not Charlo
even in the am's, a back-hand or power-punch scores more than a jab
Jabkin should know that, even if the casuals do not
pitty-pat jabs, or "volume".... is not valid scoring criteria....
* clean effective punching
* effective aggression
* ring generalship
* defense
it is more about who wins the exchanges and who controls the fight
well..... one of those guys fought his fight, the other guy did not
and the guy who could not fight his fight, is the same guy who got backed-up and beaten-up
like I said, even Golovkin's own trainer admitted that he did not win
Golovkin needs to do what Ward advised him to do 3 years ago.....
he needs to get in there with another real one, and prove that he deserves the hype..... NOT once, but again..... and again..... and again.....
we haven't seen that from Golovkin as yetLast edited by aboutfkntime; 10-04-2018, 01:31 AM.

The most likely out of those 3 is Murata for the secondary WBA title, which while not the best fight possible would be huge in Japan and good for growing the sport. I'm hoping following the amount of time wasted following Canelo - and the result of that - Golovkin is now in ****-it mode. Whether he likes it or not, he is very close to the end and he may as well go out with a **** rather than a wimper.
