    The end of boxnation

Having moved all Queensbury promoted fighters onto BT, and with the death of their chief financial backer, Bill Ives, the sad loss of Boxnation will become a stark reality before the close of 2018

For the past 7 years IT has provided many incredible fight nights, however, with Frank Warren only able to finance his stable through BT's investment, casualties are inevitable and on this occasion Boxnation has suffered.

Despite previous enthusiastic claims by Frank Warren that he doesn't need the backing of a giant broadcaster (a jab at Matchrooms exclusive deal with SKY) he has followed suit. However, given Frank's history with the 'truth' this will, of course, come as no surprise.

Goodnight Boxnation, thank you for the good times, you broke the mould, alas, in the end, the mould broke you.

    R.I.P

its a bit sad to be honest, they have been brilliant and i have to give credit to Frank warren for that. Its sad that BT sport have taken most of their work but i hope they continue to show us fights from PBC and others.

Yeah im unsubscribing before october 16th...its a shame because it was a great platform, i always watched the fights on there. BT sport is lame, you cant even watch it online. Its just that Boxnation is not getting any fights anymore. Crawford vs Benavidez will be the last fight i watch on there.

        I liked Bunceys boxing hour.

I hope they bring that back to BT.

I get BT sport online so that's just false. £7 p/m with my broadband deal, watch everything through my laptop.

I posted on here a while back Boxnation would be closing shop, a lot like HBO but in very different circumstances. That said, I want to see Bodies in Flights idea of having certain programmes move over to BT such as Bunceys Boxing Hour

I wasn't aware the Box Office channel was TV only...... guess I'll be streaming it illegally if it's not set up by December.

i wont miss it at all. it would ahve been better without the joining fee every time you resubscribed, there would be months with no good fights where i didnt want to be paying for it. it will be free for me on bt with my internet subscription now

Never been a customer. Too expensive. I do like the stuff I've managed to get my hands on. Their US PPVs, for example, are untouched, they leave the American commentary and broadcast. Sometimes I wish I could mute Sky commentary and listen to the American commentators.
