  • Comments Thread For: Deontay Wilder: Tyson Fury Needs Uncle Peter For This Fight

TYSON FURY reckons he's got Deontay Wilder rattled. But the former world heavyweight champion admits all the mind games will count for little come fight night on December 1. Fury, 30, will face the WBC title holder at the Staples Center in LA but they kicked off a three-city press tour yesterday in London in dramatic fashion.

Wilder will brutally KO Fury in 7rds.. or less! AJ will get Ko'd in the 1st Rd just for offering 12.5 and 15m flat fee for a heavyweight superfight.. smh. Dat fool trying to cashout.. tell eddie spaghetti to get his hand out of your prison wallet so u can talk for yourself and demand the fight punk! You say you don't care about the money.. and it's about the fans.. an u also stated that u will take less to fight Wilder in England.. Eddie also said this is the fight AJ and the fans want next!! then make it 50/50! An in the words of AJ.. "lets roll" w/ a flame emoji! Lol.

I get the feeling the reason Tyson Fury is no longer being trained by his uncle, is because uncle Peter doesn't think Tyson can mentally handle championship boxing and the fame that comes with it in the long term. He believes Tyson will hit the skids and go wibble again at some point, and does not want to be part of the cause of it.
Plus the way Tyson Fury behaves, he has got to be pretty draining on anybody in his life. Peter is probably looking forward to an easier ride with his own son Hughie, who is relatively straightforward compared to his older cousin.

        That's true, by the way.

Not only is he right, but that’s probably the best “mind game/**** talk” that’s come out of today.

Any "hate" between these two is entirely tongue in cheek. To anyone that's followed their back and forth jibes over the last 6 months/year or so, knows that they are in fact an unlikely friendship. It puts a different slant on everything that happens until fight night. Liking each other is not a bad thing at all, as long as the 'friction' doesn't get too scripted, although there is a danger of it becoming a bit too WWE. Entertaining nonetheless.

That Peter Fury reference really shook Fury. It was a good jab. I expect Wilder to continue using it. Though Wilder will bet Fury even without mind games cuz today's Fury is not even top 30 HW.

You know this fight is between Deontay Wilder and Tyson Fury, right? What has AJ got to do with it?
