Former world champion Amir Khan (33-4, 20 KOs) is looking very likely to sit out for the remainder of 2018. According to promoter Eddie Hearn of Matchroom, Khan's next fight is being steered to a date in February of 2019. Khan's career appeared to be on the ropes when he moved up to a catch-weight of 155-pounds in May of 2016, and challenged then WBC middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez in what was the first ever boxing event at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
