Linares was the one that went back on the agreement and chose Loma instead. Wise decision at least he had a chance against Loma.

I'd be happy to see this fight - actually a lovely styles match-up for my money, Mikey's exquisite timing and deep fundamentals against Jorge's venomous flair and speed... except if Mikey ain't fighting Spence (and I don't think he should) then I want to see him fight Loma.

That's the fight I see too. Linares is looking for fights that pay and unfortunately Mikey is (IMO) demanding too much. I'm not knocking Linares because I don't think there is enough to fight Spence either. Mikey simply wants what he wants and I'm sure he'll get it but not against the other elite fighters. Like I said, it's unfortunate but I don't see how anyone can afford to pay Mikey without taking short money.
