Aren't the belts that are brought into the ring the property of the defending champ? I thought that if the Challenger won he just got to keep them for photos and **** and gave them back to the defeated champ then whatever alphabet org sent the new champ his personal belt/belts.

Maybe Groves was on the same flight. Saudi Arabia the worst place youd stick around in to drown your sorrows. Same with Smiths entourage, must have got the 1st flight out of there to party.
