A friend of mine linked me to a football (soccer) forum that he uses and sent me a screen shot of someone that put up a post 3 hours before Eubank's fight tonight that his opponent will be stopped in the 4th round and to put a bet on it. The tip come from JJ McDonagh's cousin apparently. His opponent didn't come out for the 4th, which pays out as a 4th round knockout.

Your screenshot shows that the time of the post was 17:04, which is 5:04. If it's Eastern time, then it was posted after the fight.

no. it's UK time, from a UK football forum. The Eubank fight was 20:00 UK time. The post was made 17:04 UK time...

it's the safer a way of hiding it, rather than take an obvious dive in the round. Just say your shoulder is gone.

someone on that forum said they got paid, so i have no idea.

i've read conflicting things that you'll get paid out due to 3 rounds being completed. and some saying it counts as a 3rd round knockout. i guess it depends on the exact bet made.

Either way, it looks pretty shady that people are posting inside info from family members about 4th round stoppage and he quits before the 4th.

No wonder Eubank seemed genuinely annoyed like something was up, he didn't buy the injury excuse. i think if you're an experienced fighter, you can probably tell if your opponent had a genuine shoulder injury or not.
