****** in cheeks and looking gaunt like that is never good though, he looks worse than Bellew did at 175. At 28 1/2 it's only a matter of time he can keep cutting like this.

I think Groves will be the stronger in there, in the clinch and punching power.

I'll be rooting for Groves. Not seen a lot of Callum so don't really know what to expect, I've heard he's the best out of the Smith brothers.

I have no idea how anyone over 6ft can safely drain themselves down to 12st let alone the likes of Smith and Zurdo who are 6ft 3in. I've said for years that Smith looks gaunt at weigh-ins, but he re-hydrates well and looks like a slim CW on fight night. He'll need to move up at some point soon though as he's into his late 20's now, weight drain does not mix well with extended miles on the clock.

Going off the eye test Callum looks the more skilled, but I've seen too many of these weight bully's smash low level opposition then come unstuck at world level. I think Callum's progress has been too slow, and he was inactive for a long time before the tournament, plus he's had an easy run.

Groves jab will be too much for him, Callum doesn't box tall and got outjabbed for long periods against Skoglund... add Groves' power to that and I can see Smith taking a lot of punishment in this fight.

I picked Groves by close decision in the pick'em, but I think Groves will stop him if he is 100%.

There is a reason Callum hasn't really fought anyone of note. He has been carefully managed and he has been lucky in this tournament.

              Groves by TKO round 10

No he doesn't. Groves is much more solid than Smith. Smith is just taller. Height doesn't always equate to size and size doesn't always mean you're going to have an advantage. It all depends on if you can use it properly. Groves has a ramrod jab and if he wins the battle of the jab, Smith will lose IMO.

I don't think Callum is more skilled. He's looked average against European level competition in the quarters and semis of the WBSS with opponents that Groves would have demolished. Who has Smith "smashed" that was a legit contender? Nobody. His big knockout wins have all come against British and European level opponents. He's never been in the huge fights that Groves has.
