Comments Thread For: Lomachenko Not Very Interested in Facing Crolla or Campbell

WBA lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko is preparing to fight WBO lightweight titlist Jose Pedraza in New York on December 8. He has previously been spoken of as a potential opponent for Britain's Terry Flanagan, Anthony Crolla and Luke Campbell, but while he found Saturday's occasion at Wembley to be impressive, there are presently no British fighters who tempt him.

Props to Loma, sounds like he going all in for Mikey now and Mikey needs to do the same and not move up for Spence Jr, a fight NOBODY is excited for or calling for. Mikey vs Loma is the bigger and better damn fight anyway!

I like Mikey, but he's kind of an airhead. Maybe sometime in the next month or two he'll realize Lomachenko is the tough fight he needs to take, not Spence.

I'll definitely watch him fight Spence, but that match-up is a head scratcher

Pretty clear Hearn wants Campbell or Crolla to fight Loma next so he can try to put that fight on DAZN. Desperate.

Campbell wouldn't be bad as a stay busy fight if the Garcia fight continues to be hard to make a reality. It would appear he's all in on a Mikey fight as he wants to unify. I suppose Davis would be a more attractive match on paper but Davis obviously isn't interested.

I thought Campbell fought Linares very close, is clearly skilled and won an Olympic gold. He's also a very big lightweight.

Say what you want about Loma but at least he's honest.

I like fighters who keep it straight up. Spence and Loma both aren't shy about how they feel. That's to be respected in this era.

Its the reality of the division if the Garcia fight doesnt happen, or if Mikey moves up. Campbell is WBC mandatory, Mikey moves up Campbell fights for the vacant and becomes an attractive fight for Loma. Crolla is in a final eliminator for the WBA, same Burns for the WBO.
