Comments Thread For: Lomachenko: I'm Convinced Usyk Will Beat Joshua and Bellew

TONY BELLEW has been warned by the world's finest fighter that his next opponent will not only beat him, but that he will then go on to dethrone WBA, IBO, WBO, IBF heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. The 35-year-old Bellew has accepted his toughest fight, against undisputed cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk on November 10, and Usyk's long-term training partner Vasyl Lomachenko widely considered the pound-for-pound best is "convinced" he will continue to win.

I think he 100% beats Bellew and any active heavyweight right now.

I don’t remember Josh being as slow as he looked against Pov. Maybe it had just been a while?

Lomachenko is forgetting that Bellew fights for his kids. They're all that matter to him. Lomachenko shouldn't forget that.

I think he beats AJ but Wilder's awkward style catches him at some point for the KO.

Usyk has more skill than all the heavyweights (since Fury nobbled himself anyway) but he's not got that much of a punch at cruiserweight relatively and he's given up reach etc. Normally your talking about a cruiserweight with a punch and asking if he can carry it up in weight but if the cruiserweights aren't worried the heavyweights won't be. He'll make a lot of the top guys look ****** for some rounds but he'll get clipped as they can afford to take a few shots lining up their one.

He'd be giving away too much.

No man, Povetkin has cruiserweight speed. He is faster than Joshua. Joshua did well in that fight. He stopped a man who had never been stopped and had who only been beaten once by a man (Klitchsko) who grabbed and leant on him the whole fight.. AJ wasn't being defensive, he was going for the win in a sensible way. He was going to get caught a good few times.

People always forget about the opponent actually being good!

Usyk may beat Bellew but he won't beat AJ. Joshua is fast for a big man. He will catch Usyk at some point and will grab and lean on him to sap his strength.

Usyk is the sort of fighter that will KO wilder.
He will get more and more frustrated trying to find usyk and when the moment arrives usyk will time him and put him out.
Wilder is a dream for a great technical boxer and mover.
