Watching from the UK I was spared Kellerman till his post fight canelo interview with Canelo was broadcast on the BBC. The 'story of the fight' rubbish had me cringing.

Well that's cause you're a Floyd nut hugger who has converted to a Canelo ball guzzler because you want Floyd to be the only one to have a W over canelo. But in reality, Canelo has been served 4 times and eeked out 2 close fights to trout and Cotto. Dude couldn't even dominate little old cotto and gets out worked by 36 yr old ggg. But by all means, keep sucking him off.

being 36 yrs old is a fact. Fighter slowing down into their 30s is a fact. Yet, he still beat Canelo despite that....twice.

I think you plagarized that from one of Wikipedia's examples of irony.

The whole telecast was a canelo propaganda tool. Disgusting.

Kellerman is best ignored, he just some soft rent a mouth. Plus he's a shill for Clenelo, I find him sort of embarrassing. I quite like Lampley , he's more astute and better to listen to and a bit less of a homer

I'm baffled too - ever since Proksa, Kellerman has been gushing about GGG.

I think its that he is like an overexcited puppy, and was gushing about Canelo in the first 6 rounds with the same oomph that he has previously gushed about GGG, and fair enough, he was surprised and excited that Canelo was walking Golovkin down, and as he said later, he thought Golovkin was done after 6 and Canelo was going to ko him.

But the puppyish gushing for Canelo over the first 6 was also given to Golovkin's performance over the last 6, where once again he went completely OTT saying 'Golovkin beat Canelo up over the last 6', eventually saying he thought it was a draw, or that Golovkin won 'by a little bit' (whatever that means).

I actually didn't hear his fight commentary, but post-fight comments were equally praising of both guys, although he layered a lot of criticism on Golovkin like 'didn't learn from the mistakes of the first fight' whereas Canelo didn't get any criticism. I took that to just mean that Canelo exceeded his expectations (by a lot), and GGG didn't meet expectations - which sounded like he expected Golovkin to win easily, but it didn't happen.

ok, so Kellerman gets too excited and maybe needs to take a chill-pill every now and then, but I like him.
